Our client is looking for an Enterprise Architecture Practice Lead for an initial 12 month contract. The ideal candidate will have a baseline security clearance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership for the organisation's architecture practice, ensuring alignment with the agency's business objectives and IT strategy.
  • Architecture development: Oversee the development and maintenance of comprehensive enterprise architecture models that encompass data, information, cyber and technology domains. Define standards, guidelines and best practices for architecture design and implementation.
  • Architecture frameworks: Tailor an established architecture frameworks (such as TOGAF) in a pragmatic manner to suit the needs of the agency.
  • Governance and compliance: Establish governance frameworks to ensure compliance with whole-of-organisation's requirements and internal policies.
  • Vendor management: Evaluate and select technology vendors and solutions that align with enterprise architecture standards and strategic goals.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Education: Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in ICT, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role covering multiple disciplines such has Data, Cyber and Information Management. Experience in a government or public sector environment is highly desirable.
  • Leadership skills: Strong leadership qualities with proven experience in leading and developing high-performing teams. Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex technical and business requirements and translate them into effective architecture solutions.
