About the role

As a Product Manager, you will play a critical role in guiding the product success and development of the product in market. Working closely with our global customers, customer-facing market teams, other product managers, designers, and architects - this role will research, envision, design and implement the next generation of our platform.

As a Product Manager, you will be customer-focused and driven by the relentless pursuit of delivering value to users. You understand that success is not just about launching a product but ensuring its continued growth, relevance, and ability to solve real-world problems. As Product Manager, you act as the bridge between customers and internal teams, ensuring the delivery of quality products while maximizing product value in line with the product vision.



Responsibilities

Product Strategy

  • Collaborate closely with the VP of Product and CTO to develop and execute a client-driven product roadmap.
  • Evaluate business benefits, associated risks, customer requirements, and market opportunities.

Product Development Expertise

  • Translate product concepts into actionable solutions, defining products precisely and constructing robust, technologically advanced solutions.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build strong working relationships with customers, empathizing with their needs and pain points.
  • Translate customer insights into actionable product improvements and innovative features.
  • Actively seek feedback from customers and stakeholders throughout development, refining the product backlog.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Maintain ongoing communication with customers and stakeholders, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and clarifying requirements.
  • Lead Agile development teams, fostering a culture of innovation within the organization.
  • Communicate the product roadmap and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, features, and user stories.

User Centric Design

  • Maintain a deep understanding of user personas and design with empathy.
  • Track feature usage effectively to create products aligned with user needs and expectations.

Market Insight & Innovation

  • Champion innovation through market insight, analyzing QSR and WFM market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive intelligence.
  • Analyze competitors to differentiate products, identify market gaps, and prioritize features.

Domain Expertise

  • Cultivate profound QSR domain expertise, comprehending operational intricacies, compliance mandates, and customer expectations.
  • Utilise domain knowledge to empathize with users, pinpoint pain points, and develop comprehensive solutions.

Data Driven Decision-Making

  • Manage feature usage tracking and measurement, monitoring user adoption and behavior.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to optimize user experiences, continuously monitoring key product metrics.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and growth, proposing new features and enhancements based on data insights.


Skills and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in Product Manager / Product Owner / BA roles in an agile development environment, within enterprise SaaS (preferably startup), consumer tech or other high-growth technology companies.
  • Ability to demonstrate critical thinking and deep analytical knowledge to understand the complex dependencies between features and services in the platform.
  • Ability to document feature requirements in a way that provides clear technical guidance for development teams and enable them to be productive quickly.
  • Quick learner, with demonstrable ability to grasp deep product knowledge in a short space of time, becoming an active contributor within a matter of weeks.
  • A self-starter, who enjoys accountability for your own workload, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Can work individually, and as part of a team.
  • Deep understanding of the unique challenges, trends, and competitive landscape within the QSR industry is highly desirable
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyse market data, identify growth opportunities, and develop actionable product strategies.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation skills and agility in objection handling, rejection, and managing ambiguity.
  • Experience working with task management software (i.e., JIRA, Confluence), as well as change management / version control systems including Git, Apache SVN.
