We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Manager with expertise in payroll implementations to join their consulting team in a pivotal role to deliver secure, accurate and compliant project outcomes for their customers.

This role is integral to our client's operations, ensuring that all employees receive accurate and timely remuneration. We are looking for a candidate who not only possesses the technical know-how but also thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to upholding the highest standards of payroll management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal Consulting Teams and Implementation Partners to successfully implement solutions for customers
  • Lead and direct project activities in line with our Project Implementation & Governance methodologies
  • Create detailed plans, strategies and project schedules to manage software implementation projects for their customers
  • Develop and manage effective stakeholder relations throughout the project lifecycle
  • Identify, manage, and administer effective mitigation strategies for project risks, in accordance with our framework and follow standard reporting and escalation processes
  • Assess, recommend, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Manage and oversee technical aspects of projects, including the connection of non- technical streams to ensure key components within the project delivery align to agreed outcomes

Experience and Capabilities

  • 5 years + Project Management experience or payroll implementation experience with a desire to advance Project Management experience
  • Extensive and demonstrated experience in implementing payroll solutions
  • Good payroll and payroll systems background
  • Ability to manage multiple complex payroll projects to successful and timely completion is required
  • Practical knowledge (and associated certifications) of best practice Project Management methodologies such as PRINCE2 and PMBOK will be advantageous
  • PRINCE2 Agile experience is of particular interest
  • Be independently motivated with a proven ability to work in a hybrid workforce as required and use suitable communication technologies for this environment
  • High level communication and negotiation skills with a strong focus on building successful relationships with a broad range of stakeholders
