About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our client's team. You'll play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines using Azure Databricks and Synapse Analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement efficient data pipelines using Azure Databricks and Synapse Analytics.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries for data transformation and cleansing.
- Develop and maintain Python Notebooks for data ingestion and transformation.
- Design and develop integration solutions using industry-standard tools and technologies (Boomi, MuleSoft, etc.).
- Configure and manage APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) for data exchange.
- Work with cloud storage solutions like Azure Blob Storage for data ingestion and processing.
- Implement best practices for data governance and quality control.
- Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data needs.
Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Software Engineering.
- Proven experience with Azure Databricks and/or Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Expertise in SQL development and data transformation techniques.
- Expertise in Python and data transformation techniques.
- Familiarity with cloud storage concepts (e.g., Azure Blob Storage).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
