About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our client's team. You'll play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines using Azure Databricks and Synapse Analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement efficient data pipelines using Azure Databricks and Synapse Analytics.
  • Develop and maintain SQL queries for data transformation and cleansing.
  • Develop and maintain Python Notebooks for data ingestion and transformation.
  • Design and develop integration solutions using industry-standard tools and technologies (Boomi, MuleSoft, etc.).
  • Configure and manage APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) for data exchange.
  • Work with cloud storage solutions like Azure Blob Storage for data ingestion and processing.
  • Implement best practices for data governance and quality control.
  • Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data needs.

Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Software Engineering.
  • Proven experience with Azure Databricks and/or Azure Synapse Analytics.
  • Expertise in SQL development and data transformation techniques.
  • Expertise in Python and data transformation techniques.
  • Familiarity with cloud storage concepts (e.g., Azure Blob Storage).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
