Our Federal Government Client are looking for 2 Test Analysts. This is a long-term contract role for 12 months with a possible 12-month extension, located in ACT (priority), NSW, QLD, SA, TAS, VIC, or WA.
 
As the EL1 (equivalent) Test Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of their systems. You'll lead testing activities, manage resources, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead testing of SAS Investigation Management System development and implementation.
  • Prepare and review test strategies, plans, scripts, and sign-off reports.
  • Manage and support fraud teams in UAT and BVT activities.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to ensure a suitable testing environment.
  • Manage and track all testing activities and escalate defects.
  • Estimate effort and time requirements for testing activities.
  • Manage tester resources to support various testing phases.
 
To be successful in this role, you should have:
  • Proven experience in functional and/or user acceptance testing with a strong foundation in test skills and experience working on full lifecycle projects.
  • Familiarity with defect investigation and the importance of reliable defect reproduction.
  • Understanding of test process collateral and its role in providing feedback to management.
  • A strong grasp of the test lifecycle within the development lifecycle.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the tenacity to resolve issues.
 
It is desirable if you have: 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SAS products, especially SAS IMS.
  • Strong time management, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.
  • Proven teamwork skills.
 
 
Candidates must be Australian citizens and able to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 1 security clearance.
