ICT - Spatial Technical Analyst

Purpose

Our Local Government Client's Enterprise Spatial Platform team seeks a Spatial Technical Analyst experienced in delivering Spatial ICT projects for government and commercial organizations across various industries. The position reports to the Enterprise Spatial Platform Manager.



Key Responsibilities



· Investigate and analyse ArcGIS spatial products and services to support spatial strategy initiatives.



· Configure and deliver ArcGIS spatial solutions in line with the spatial strategy.



· Collaborate with the Program team to identify ArcGIS products and services that will achieve spatial strategy initiatives across the organization.



· Prepare documentation on benefits, impacts, delivery approach, and governance requirements for each proposed solution.



· Collaborate with internal and external partners on the configuration and implementation of proposed solutions.



· Work within the Program team to deliver the Council's spatial strategy initiatives and solutions, including:



· Solution proposals with governance requirements.

Skills and knowledge

  • Experience interpreting spatial strategies and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of ArcGIS spatial products and services.
  • Strategic thinking on applying spatial products to various business processes.
  • Experience in discussing and delivering spatial value within a large organization.
  • Knowledge of Web GIS and ability to configure web and mobile applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Superior written communication skills with extensive experience in preparing high-quality documentation for business and technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with staff from various technical disciplines, as well as with customers, suppliers, project managers, and stakeholders.
