The Role

  • Lead the data workstream to support a replacement case management, digital asset management and data management project.
  • Experience in designing and maintaining data products such as data mappings and data transformation rules.
  • Develop and maintain data migration scripts and tools to ensure accurate and efficient data transfer.
  • Validate data post-migration to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Identify, troubleshoot and resolve data migration issues in a timely manner and present data analysis results and conclusions.
  • Assist in departmental identification of suitable IT solutions as well as substantively contribute to planned procurement activities.
  • Interpret business and user requirements and provide advice on the application of the information systems solution to optimise local and enterprise-wide business outputs.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of recent experience working across IT environments as a Data Analyst including at least 2 years of experience in data analysis and reconciling large data sets working in data migration projects.
  • Experience in Data Migration definition and execution.
  • Relevant tertiary and industry recognised qualifications.
  • Experience with analysis related to case management and data management, implementation and replacement.
  • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across project and development team environments.

Highly desirable technical skills and experience:

  • Familiarity working in Azure cloud environments.
  • Articulate complex technical concepts clearly, aligning data migration with our business objectives.
  • Experienced in data reconciliation or data assurance projects.
  • Data profiling and cleansing of legacy data.
  • Strong knowledge of data migration processes, ETL tools, and data modelling.
  • Proficiency in SQL and database management.
  • Experience using project agile methodologies
