Working with a prominent player in the telecommunications industry. This company specialise in deploying and managing fibre optic networks across the country. The role of an Infrastructure Delivery Manager for Fibre Networks is multifaceted and critical for successful network deployment. In this role, you will oversee critical aspects of network projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, efficient execution, and successful delivery. Here are some key responsibilities associated with this role:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end fibre network infrastructure projects.
  • Design pit and pipe works
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Ensure project milestones are met and deliverables are completed on time.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and clients.
  • Facilitate communication between engineering, construction, and operational teams.
  • Address and resolve project-related issues and conflicts.
  • Oversee the design and engineering of fibre optic networks.
  • Ensure compliance with technical specifications and industry standards.
  • Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine project requirements.
  • Implement quality control processes to ensure the integrity of network installations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of work completed by contractors.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Essential criteria for this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Telecommunications, Project Management or related field.
  • Extensive experience in the telecommunications infrastructure, with a proven track record.
  • Extensive demonstrated experience in designing pit and pipe works
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing infrastructure networking strategies.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale fibre optic network projects.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional leadership and managerial abilities, with a focus on building high-performing teams.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic mindset and the ability to align operational activities with long-term company goals.
  • Proven experience in driving process improvement initiatives and operational efficiency.
