Mining System Specialist - Trainee

Are you looking for a long-term career in mining systems support? Then this is the one for you.

Our mining client is seeking a talented individual to contribute to the production, development, and management of autonomous mobile and fleet systems. In this role, you'll work on cutting-edge technologies, ensuring our systems meet technical requirements and stakeholder expectations while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify and validate autonomous systems against technical requirements and stakeholder expectations
  • Develop and implement safety lifecycle management strategies for complex systems
  • Monitor system performance and resolve issues to improve overall performance and integration
  • Develop and configure complex fleet/traffic control systems using advanced mathematical modelling and simulation techniques
  • Install, integrate, and commission automated equipment across production systems
  • Conduct verification activities and functional testing to ensure system components meet relevant standards and design specifications

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Experience with autonomous systems, robotics, or fleet management technologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulations in autonomous systems
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
