The ICT Portfolio Delivery Manager require ability to influence as well as a strong program/project management experience in a complex ICT environment. The role is responsible for ensuring successful planning, prioritisation and delivery of portfolio outcomes within the agreed scope, budget and timeframes, and that the solutions they deliver are responsive to business and customer needs and are sustainable in an enterprise environment. The role ensures that they and their projects leverage enabling services such as the Portfolio Management Office and each of the ICT delivery teams to optimise and de-risk project delivery.

Required skills and competencies:

  • Demonstrated extensive experience in complex ICT project and program management development and delivery that demonstrates value for money and fit for purpose.
  • Demonstrated experience of successfully managing and leading sizeable multi-disciplinary ICT teams involved in delivering large scale, complex and transformational projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multi-functional teams, including working directly with lead business representatives/project managers/project owners often on highly sensitive and confidential matters.
  • Demonstrated superior ability to negotiate, influence and manage complex and challenging issues in a sensitive environment, using highly effective relationship building, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify emerging issues, problem solve using sound judgement to develop potential options for resolution.
  • Substantial experience in providing strategic advice, business acumen, financial management, risk management, resource management and reporting skills.
  • Demonstrable experience in successfully managing Tier 1 Vendors and working collaboratively with key client stakeholders/representatives and internal Information and Communications Technology support and operational personnel.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for communicating with executive management, peers and technical consultants/specialists both internal and external.
  • Strong written communication skills for conveying associated complex Information and Communications Technology concepts into easily and accurately understood information.
  • Extensive experience in program or project management methodologies (PMBok or PRINCE2 or Agile)
