Role Description
The OTE managed by the Grid Technology group serves a complex and diverse set of cyber and operational customers. This role necessitates excellent communication and strong stakeholder management skills, as the Business Analyst will collaborate with multiple business units and technical teams
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business teams to develop documentation for Business Case submissions.
- Partner with project teams to shape Platform initiatives for the annual Program of Work (PoW), including Financial analysis on Return on Investment (ROI).
- Conduct process analysis and mapping to capture changes and streamline workflows.
- Engage with external users, project teams, subject matter experts, vendors, and other agencies to gather and translate business and technical requirements into actionable plans.
Essential Skills & Experience
The Business Analyst position will deliver analysis services for the electrical engineering discipline, specifically in power systems and be able to draw upon:
- Extensive experience in Business Analysis techniques for gathering and translating business requirements into functional specifications in large and complex environments.
- Proven stakeholder management skills, with a strong ability to engage technical resources, senior executives, and external vendors/partners.
- Demonstrated expertise in creating accurate and effective business process models and information/data models, including 'as-is' and 'to-be' representations using appropriate notations.
- Skilled in eliciting business information, documenting it clearly, and presenting issues and proposed solutions in a dynamic environment.
