About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Lead with deep infrastructure experience to join a prestigious and confidential client on a 12-month contract basis. This role is pivotal in steering infrastructure projects and ensuring robust, scalable, and secure systems for our client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance and oversight on all infrastructure-related projects, from planning and design through to implementation and optimization.
  • Infrastructure Management: Lead the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of critical infrastructure components including servers, networks, storage systems, and cloud services.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure infrastructure solutions meet business requirements and adhere to best practices.
  • Problem Resolution: Address complex technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency of infrastructure operations.
  • Team Mentorship: Mentor and support junior team members, sharing your expertise and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Create detailed documentation, reports, and presentations to communicate project status, technical solutions, and strategic recommendations to stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

  • Clearance: NV2 security clearance is essential.
  • Experience: Significant experience as a Technical Lead or similar role with a focus on infrastructure management, demonstrating a track record of successful project execution.
  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of infrastructure technologies such as cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), networking (Cisco, Juniper), and storage solutions.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead technical teams, manage projects, and effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving capabilities with a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
